Wellness at Wesley Manor

Wesley Manor nurtures the mind, body, and spirit through a wide range of programs, events, social gatherings, Bible studies, group outings, and individualized services. Every day is different and provides many opportunities to enjoy lifelong interests or explore new ones.

Our fully-equipped fitness center provides residents the opportunity to conveniently practice strength, flexibility, balance, and cardio exercises. In addition, our indoor pool and bowling alley offer enjoyable ways to stay in shape while socializing with friends. Whether taking part in group classes or exercising on their own while watching a favorite television program, many residents are showing measurable improvement in their health and fitness.

Brain fitness and continuing education are also popular with our residents. Increasing evidence shows that remaining engaged in life and continuing to learn can have positive effects on memory and mental acuity.

Ask for a monthly calendar to see all that we have to offer in our Wellness Program.

Dining at Wesley Manor

The enjoyment of a fine meal shared with friends is a daily experience at Wesley Manor. Our residents enjoy the convenience of restaurant-style dining options and can be assured that the food will be fresh and well-prepared. Family and friends are always welcome to accompany you for any of the three meals served daily. If you have a large group of family and friends, Wesley Manor can accommodate the larger dining crowds.

Creating appealing menu selections is a high priority at Wesley Manor, and a Registered Dietitian is on hand by appointment to offer one-on-one advice to residents with special dietary needs. If you would like to have assistance with your meal selection, Wesley Manor staff and family and friends are always welcome to help. In order to support family and friends who aid in meal selections and do not live locally, please contact Wesley Manor Dining Services at (765) 656-2113.

Spiritual  Life

Spiritual support for people of all faiths.

Wesley Manor is a faith-based community. We strive to express an attitude of God’s love and compassion by providing the Church’s ministry to and with the aging. We affirm the authority of the Book of Discipline of The United Methodist Church and commit ourselves to honor its standards and principles. While welcoming people of all faiths, we believe in honoring and glorifying God and continuing to build relationships and accountability with God’s people through our affiliation with the United Methodist Church.

We are committed to creating spiritual-growth opportunities for every person who lives here and enhancing the lives of residents by keeping them connected to and supporting, their personal belief structures. We honor everyone’s traditions and perspectives and we believe it is our responsibility to nurture and encourage their ability to make spiritual connections. We have a Chaplain on campus and offer Sunday and Tuesday services in our Chapel, Bible studies, Pastoral care and counseling, and one-on-one resident visits.
