| “Free bowling and golf provided at Wesley Manor played an important role in our decision to come here 11 years ago. It was inportant that we find a retirement community that supported our active lifestyle. That is exactly what we found here, a ‘retirement home’ with more activities than we have time for, friendly residents to interact with and a great staff. What more could we want? We are really happy we chose Wesley Manor.” - Jim and Ruth Ribley, 11-year Village residents |

As medical science continues to increase its understanding of the elderly, it has become clear that those with dementia require a different sort of care than those who are chronically ill. For example, long hallways banked by rows of identical-looking doors are inhospitable, a lack of space to wander and socialize is confining. Dementia sufferers need a secure, cozy setting in order to feel at home and maintain their highest level of functionality. |

Four years ago, Wesley Manor’s Board of Directors was reviewing its Master Land Use Plan, which outlines the facility’s plans for growth over the next 15 years. A market study demonstrated that the need and timing for specialized dementia care is now.
